On Wednesday, 5 July a strong online audience enjoyed a thought-provoking panel session on “What we need to know about ‘the Voice’ — before we vote”, which is ‘must-see’ viewing for all who are interested in and concerned about the decisions to be taken in the referendum later this year. The panel was convened by Emeritus Professor Peter Baume AC DistFRSN, a former Minister for Aboriginal Affairs in the Fraser Government, and included Professor Megan Davis FRSN FASSA, a human rights and constitutional lawyer from UNSW who is one of the principal architects of ‘the Voice’, Dean Ashenden, an author and former academic, political advisor, and journalist, and Christopher Puplick AM, a former Senator for NSW. The recording of this event is now available on YouTube.
