Australian Watercolour Institute Centenary Exhibition

Watercolour paintingThroughout its history, a number of Australia’s most celebrated artists have been members of, or exhibited with, the Australian Watercolour Institute (AWI).

The AWI works to ensure the future of watercolour painting as a vital medium and this year is celebrating its centenary with its Centenary Exhibition.

Dates: 1–7 September 2023, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm (AEST)
Venue: Lion Gate Lodge, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
Entry: No charge

The exhibition includes floor talks and watercolour demonstrations daily at 2.00 pm.

Society members and friends who have a love of art and enjoy a walk in the gardens will surely find this to be a wonderful event for their calendars.
