The Society’s 1302nd Ordinary General Meeting held in the Gallery Room of the State Library of NSW on 6 April 2022 marked an important milestone — the return to face-to-face events after two years of exclusively online events imposed by pandemic restrictions.
An audience of over 50 people enjoyed the opportunity to once again meet with fellow Society members and members of the public, and to enjoy a fascinating talk on “New frontiers in smart sensor technology for a healthier, safer and sustainable future” presented by Professor Ben Eggleton FRSN FAA FTSE, Director of the University of Sydney Nano Institute and Co-Director of the NSW Smart Sensing Network.
Some images from that occasion are available at this link for viewing and downloading. The meeting was also recorded and a video of Professor Eggleton’s presentation is now available on the Society’s YouTube channel in the coming days.
