The Australian State Royal Societies

The Royal Society of South Australia A learned society whose interest is natural history, particularly, of South Australia.
The Royal Society of Victoria The Society aims to promote science and science education for the betterment of the Victorian community.
The Royal Society of Western Australia A cross-disciplinary organisation that fosters exchange among scientists and promotes science in all its aspects, through publications, meetings, symposia and special events. 
The Royal Society of Queensland Queensland's first scientific society, established 1883, that encourages original research and the application of scientific method and knowledge to policy-making and decision-making.
The Royal Society of Tasmania The object of the Society is "the advancement of knowledge" achieved by programmes of lectures, panel discussions, symposia and excursions, by publications and by the use of the library of the Society.

The Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering ATSE fosters excellence in technological sciences and engineering to enhance Australia's competitiveness, economic and social well-being and environmental sustainability.
The Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia The Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia is an autonomous, non-governmental organisation, devoted to the advancement of knowledge and research in the various social sciences.
The Australian Academy of the Humanities The Australian Academy of the Humanities advances knowledge of, and the pursuit of excellence in, the humanities in Australia for the benefit of the nation.
